As this episode opens, Dexter is rushing frantically to the scene of Deb and Lundy’s shooting. When he arrives, the officer on duty does not want to let him through because he doesn’t have his ID. Dexter eventually gets past when Batista vouches for him. He goes in to find Lundy dead and Deb still alive and on her way to the hospital. Dexter goes to her and then, as she is taken away in the ambulance, Dexter goes to Lundy’s hotel room to collect info from the research Lundy had done on Trinity. Continue reading

As this episode begins, Rita is leaving to go out of town for a wedding, and she is taking the three kids with her, leaving Dexter on his own for three days. Dexter, of course, takes this as a vacation from his personal life, that now leaves him free to pursue his extracurricular activities. Continue reading

In this third episode of the fourth season of Dexter, we find Dexter and Rita still adapting to their new married life in the suburbs. At a local barbeque, the neighbors discuss with Dexter the vandalism problem going in the neighborhood and their plans to start a neighborhood watch program. Dexter, of course, wishes to find the vandal in his own way after his front gate gets spray painted and a vandalized car rolls over Cody’s bike. Continue reading

When we last left Dexter, he had just finished killing Benny Gomez, and as he made his uncharacteristically hasty flee from the scene, he fell asleep at the wheel of his minivan and crashed it. As this episode begins, Dexter is being pulled from the wreckage by paramedics and put into an ambulance. All he can remember is that he did not dispose of Benny’s body yet, so he knows that if they look in his trunk, it’s all over. Continue reading
