With the end of the television series Lost, the airwaves have been deprived of one of network TV’s one true gems. However, there are many ways that fans of the series can remember the awesome power that was this television milestone. Sure, this can be limited to having marathons where you watch the DVDs one after another, you can read the tons of fan theories on the internet, hell you could also decide to write your own fan-fiction. However, one way that I’ve been dealing with a world without Lost is by making a playlist of music that was not only featured on the series, but embodies the themes present throughout. In my opinion, when it comes to network TV, it doesn’t get any better than NBC’s Chuck. One of the greatest aspects of the series is the music featured throughout the series. Unlike many other TV shows, which feature music in montages and during the closing credits, Chuck actually features the majority of it’s awesome music in the actual episodes. Continue reading

Well…I have to say, one of my favorite television shows of all time is the Showtime series Californication. The series starring David Duchovney is one of the cable network’s biggest draws, and I can’t begin to tell you just how awesome it is. One of the biggest accomplishments of the series is the quality of music featured in the episodes. There are actually soundtracks available for all three seasons, but I looked through them and picked out my absolute favorite musical moments from the first three seasons of Californication.
