HBO has been the home of some of the most groundbreaking and original TV series of all time.  With Twilight showing movie audiences everywhere just how hammy and terrible the adventures of sparkling vampires can be, it is quite comforting to tune into the addictive and quality filled series called True Blood.  True Blood, which tells the story of the residents of Bon Temps and their brushes with the supernatural, has become one of HBO’s biggest hits of all time.  With season one featuring a killer who hunted “fang bangers” and season two centering around the search for a powerful vampire named Godric and a battle with a maenad, audiences everywhere were just dying to know what the cool characters of this series were going to get into for season 3. The creators of HBO’s massive hit series True Blood have developed a loyal fan following that’s growing by leaps and bounds with each episode they air. The first season of the vampire series was a modest success, however after terrific word of mouth and a successful dvd release, the second season was nothing short of phenomenal. Season 2 left off with quite a cliffhanger, and fans across the globe are dying to know the fates of all the awesome characters from Bon Temps. As season 2 of the wonderfully addictive HBO series True Blood begins to reach it’s climax, we are beginning to see different sides to the characters we’ve grown to love over the past season and a half. In the 10th episode of season 2, entitled “New World in My View”, all the stages are being set for what looks to be a kick-ass finale. This episode was actually focused more on humor than blood, and after the tragic events of the past few episodes, those moments of levity were just great. Continue reading
